THE MOSELLE, THE CRADLE OF GOOD TASTE.

This much is certain: a lot of good things are produced along the Mosel! Sometimes even extraordinary: what began 50 years ago as a union of a few Mosel winegrowers is now the largest winegrowers‘ cooperative in Rhineland-Palatinate. Across regional borders, all members of Moselland eG are united by one goal: perfecting wine enjoyment with the Mosel in their hearts and the world in their sights.

The Company

Trennlinie

Moselland Logo

The Romans founded one of the oldest wine-growing traditions in Germany on the Mosel. Since then, a lot of water has flowed down the Mosel River and the steep slopes are now known worldwide. For almost 50 years as an association of Mosel winegrowers and now as the largest winegrowers‘ cooperative in Rhineland-Palatinate, Moselland eG Winzergenossenschaft perpetuates the tradition and quality of Mosel wines.

Nahetal Logo

Along the Nahe, in southwestern Rhineland-Palatinate, characteristic wines have been made from grapes growing on volcanic soils for centuries. The first vines were brought to this idyllic region – no surprise – by the Romans. Their legacy is carried on by our winegrowers of the former Nahetal Winzer eG, who have been important members of Moselland eG since 2000.

Nierstein Logo

The wines of the Rheinhessen have been speaking their own language for centuries – the Niersteiner Glöck is the oldest documented vineyard site in Germany, and Nierstein is the largest wine-growing community in Rheinhessen. Founded in 1930 as a classic cooperative, Niersteiner Weingenossenschaft eG merged with Moselland eG in 2016.

Rietburg Logo

With around 1,800 hours of sunshine a year and a Mediterranean climate, refreshing white wines, fruity rosé wines, as well as red wines such as Pinot Noir and Dornfelder, thrive here. The Rietburg wine cooperative was founded in 1958 by local winegrowers and has been a pillar of Moselland eG since 2011.
